About this ebook

The second installment of Scott Westerfeld’s New York Times bestselling and award-winning Uglies series—a global phenomenon that started the dystopian trend.

Tally has finally become pretty. Now her looks are beyond perfect, her clothes are awesome, her boyfriend is totally hot, and she’s completely popular. It’s everything she’s ever wanted.

But beneath all the fun—the nonstop parties, the high-tech luxury, the total freedom—is a nagging sense that something’s wrong. Something important. Then a message from Tally’s ugly past arrives. Reading it, Tally remembers what’s wrong with pretty life, and the fun stops cold.

Now she has to choose between fighting to forget what she knows and fighting for her life—because the authorities don’t intend to let anyone with this information survive.

ahhhh(: this book. Pretties, was my favorite one out of Uglies, Pretties, Specials, then Extras. the book Uglies, was a very good start. In the Specials, i lost interest because i ddnt like how Tally's attitude was, i hated her being a special, plus it was very sad! and unnexpected of wut happened to Zane in specials! i like Zane and Tally together very much. and i ddnt relly bother reading Extras, because Specials already lost my interest. but i reaaaally do think the first and second books are amaaaaaaaaaaaazing!(: good plot and i can imagine alot of the scenes. scott westerfield takes us to a whole other world, we cant even imagine ourselves. ~alissa carsley ;)

This was a great book. However,if you haven't read the first book -Uglies- this one will kind of be confusing. Tally Youngblood was finally transformed into a Pretty. She has her own room in Pretty Town, she just joined a cool new group, she met the boy of her dreams, and now her past has come back to haunt her. Someone from the Ugly days brought her a note that was written by... herself.... addressed to herself. After reading it, it told her that her being a Pretty was only an expirement and now she is needed to save the world. Yikes. Read this thrilling novel immediately after you read Uglies. Although, personally, i think the best of the series would have to be Uglies. The second best is Extras, the fourth book. But i'm getting ahead. This book was really cool and i would recommend it to sci-fi thriller and fiction readers.

I think this is a great supernatural story that anyone could read i love Zane and Tally this is a book you need to read it is the best i have read so far Love overcomes everything in its path. Tally would rather die than leave her love and this is one of the best books i have ever read infact i have read this book about ten times it is one of those stories you just never get over. But if you honestly love Zane i would request don't read specials.
