Easy and fun read. I couldn't put the book down once I started. Between the action, the characters fighting for their lives, and the little romance. This book keeps you interested the whole time.

This book was so good and kept me interested the whole way through that it was hard to even put down to do other things like sleep. I wish it were longer or that we learned more about the underground world such as other tribes besides the 3. Anyway I thought it was over at the author notes but if you keep going you get to find out what happens to the enclave that you don't read about with Deuce. On to the next book!

I loved this book from the first year it was released! The characters are relatable and believable. There is clear development without too much detail. Fast paced and easy to read draws your attention and keeps it. Highly recommended even for non readers.

About the author

Ann Aguirre has been a clown, a clerk, a savior of stray kittens, and a voice actress, not necessarily in that order. She grew up in a yellow house across from a cornfield, but she now lives in a terracotta adobe house in Mexico with her husband and two adorable children. The post-apocalyptic novel Enclave is her first book for young adults. She also writes the romantic science fiction series about Sirantha Jax, starting with Grimspace, as well as urban fantasy and paranormal romance. As Ava Gray, she writes paranormal romantic suspense.
