Great conclusion to the Handmaids Tale and tidying up of the loose ends that the first book and television series have. I first read the book over 20 years ago and have been engrossed with the tv series. So much of what is written in the first book is topical in our 2019 world from a political, religious, conservative and control point of view. Margaret Atwood is to be congratulated on writing a story that has remained so current and topical to the world.

I read The Handmaid's Tale decades ago. It disturbed me to the core, as it no doubt intended to. 35 years on, Margaret Attwood answers many questions in this gripping sequel. Literally, a book I could not put down, it's a deeply satisfying end to the tale. Highly recommended.

Best book I've read in 5 or so years. Couldn't put it down because I was getting my house cleaned so all my surfaces were wet which meant if I put the book down it would get wet which would have been a shame because the cover is very nice.
