I have not yet read enough of the book (which seems like a solid historical work) to comment on the content, but I want to warn potential buyers of the epub/ebook that it's chock full of character recognition errors which make a hash of Arabic names and words. To get a clean version you have to download the locked PDF version and read it using the awful Adobe Digital Editions software.
