Dazu werde ich in aller Kürze auf Bubers Biographie eingehen, bevor ich den Hauptaspekt seines Denkens, das dialogische Prinzip, vorstelle. Dessen Einfluss auf Bubers Vorstellung von Erziehung soll im Hauptteil der Arbeit ausführlich dargelegt werden, ohne dabei kritische Aspekte auszusparen, um so abschließend zu einer umfassenden Bewertung von Bubers erzieherischem Denken zu gelangen. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, verständlich zu machen was es bedeutet, wenn Buber sagt, dass der Mensch nur „am Du zum Ich“ werden kann.
