About this ebook

In this tantalizing sequel to Kitty and the Midnight Hour, celebrity werewolf and late-night radio host Kitty Norville returns to take on dirty politicians in America's capital.
Kitty Norville prefers to be heard and not seen. So when she's invited to testify at a Senate hearing on behalf of supernaturals, and her face gets plastered on national TV, she inherits a new set of friends.
She also inherits a new set of enemies, including the vampire mistress of the city; an über-hot Brazilian were-jaguar; and a Bible-thumping senator who wants to expose Kitty as a monster.
Kitty quickly learns that in this city of dirty politicians and backstabbing pundits, everyone's itching for a fight.

Kitty is growing a backbone. She is not the cub beaten and sniveling in the corner with her tail tucked. That Kitty has left the building. The new Kitty has to face her fears and show the world who she is. She faces the judgmental, the haters of the world with her head held high, naked before all the world. Kitty finds her hands overflowing with drama and intrigue. While waiting to testify she finds. The government has some hidden agenda's in their interest of the supernaturals, and have been doing something terrible. The supernatural community in Washington is unusual and yet works. She meets and works with individuals she would have baulked at in the past. She even finds herself a hot little kitty to play with. She learns of new dangerous others who threaten freedoms. Layers of betrayal, mistrust and torture flutter through the pages. In the end Kitty finds she has more than she ever knew. I enjoyed this book more than the first. Kitty really dealt with some hard lessons and truths that developed her as a character.I can't wait to read the next book in her saga.

Love this series! The first one was good but had some themes I wasn't completely in love with but the second book really knocked it out of the park for me.
