About this ebook

An innocent has never looked so guilty…

When a girl is found dead at an all-night house party, the sheriff accuses Gina’s son, Jacob, of being the murderer.

Despite the evidence stacked up against him, Gina is determined to find the real killer and bring them to justice. However, her quest for the truth is complicated by two unexpected obstacles: the fluffy, blonde puppy unexpectedly in her care, and the return of her long-estranged mother.

As she works to track down the murderer with her talking dog, Daisy, at her side, Gina realizes that her unscrupulous family history just might come in handy in helping her solve the case.

But how far will a mother go to prove her child’s innocence?

Another exciting suspenseful story with Gina and her talking dog Daisy. Gina is incensed when the sheriff suspects Gina's son has murdered Ava and is determined to prove his innocence at all costs. Gina's character is written so well, her love for her son, animals, her rescue mission, along with her faults of not being very social or tactful. How far will she go to prove his innocence? I love how her relationship with Trevor has developed in this series and look forward to seeing the outcome of her determination to have him elected as sheriff. This is a wonderful series wth each story also readable as a standalone. The story is a page turner and a quick entertaining one. Gina has been enjoying her son, Jacob, being home from school for awhile. He's getting ready to go to a party. She is waiting for her beau, Deputy Trevor Hutchinson, to come over like planned. What she gets is a call letting her know he's on duty and there's been a couple of car crashes. So she and her talking dog Daisy head to bed. Then she's woken and when she goes to the door Trevor is there telling her her son is in the clinic but also in trouble. He was found by a young woman who was strang

This is the fourth book in the series. Gina and her talking dog are back to solve another murder mystery, this time its her own son she has to prove is innocent, all while dealing with a new puppy and her mother returning to town. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend reading it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
