About this ebook

From the Desk of the How-To Junkie for the "Adventure Junkie":

Howdy friend, who wants "to be adventurous, get rid of boredom, and make life interesting,"

Life must really suck for you if you're reading this - and I don't mean that in any disrespectful or rude way. I'm simply saying your life is probably not as exciting or interesting as you would like it to be, right?

Do you find your dreaded days never-ending but filled with work, everyday? Are you bored by monotony? Are you seeking more thrill, fun and excitement?

Now do you ever wish your life was like one big action movie, running around tirelessly going on secret missions, chasing bad guys, or recovering stolen valuables? OK, that's a little far-fetched. However, the next best thing you can do is have more adventures in your life!

Unlike what you see on TV, an adventure can range from doing something unexpected, experiencing something never done before, or exploring anything new and even bringing people along for the ride!

By adopting an adventurous streak, you can inject more spice into your life and revitalize your whole being to make life more interesting and worthwhile again.

By being an "Adventure Junkie," you will know:

* How having more adventures is necessary for staying healthy with science to back it up.

* How to be a dynamic maverick with an enterprising spirit to achieve all of your dreams.

* How to be a worldly performing artist to those around you can and get others involved.

* How to be excited by life like an explorer always eager to see what' on the other side.

* How to capture an adventurous spirit and cultivate that inner-adventurer side of you.

...and full-satisfied junkie more.

Could you use that jump-start now to get your life going again? Then off the couch and do so! Don't be a square regretting what you could have done. Be fun, be adventurous to now!

Signing off. Your friend,

- The How-To Junkie

This is an interesting book wherein the author, “Howie Junkie” presents his outlook on life- there is no reason why we all shouldn’t enjoy life to the fullest and do something exciting today and every day. One doesn’t have to wait for a vacation to begin in order to experience something new. You can create your own daily adventures and have a happier and fulfilled life. I don't think anyone would disagree with him; we are all trying to find ways to be happier. The 31 pages of this Kindle book make it more of a lengthy pamphlet than an in-depth how-to manual. I read through the entire thing in about 15 minutes. The writing style and format is such that you don’t really have to read the pages – it feels more like skimming. None of the ideas feel overly original but it serves as a good collection of practical gathered wisdom. For example, the author mentions that our bodies release natural drugs when we participate in anything ‘adventurous.’ Thus, we can stimulate our bodies to release those certain chemicals by making sure that we experience those types of triggering activities daily. Of course, this is what we do when we go to the theme park and ride the rollercoaster; we make our bodies release chemicals which we enjoy. Likewise, this book presents ideas to the reader on how best we can induce happiness all the time through changing up our daily routine. There are very practical modern-day examples of activities one can do to ‘spice up’ your life. Facebook groups are mentioned, gathering friends for a themed party, using search engines and websites to find out what interesting things are going on locally. The book is really a collection of very practical ideas to help you get out of your shell; find your fun, as well as your adventure.

When life seems boring and mundane it is time to seek out and adventure. Doing so can boost many things in your life and help you live better. Don't quite know how to do this? This book gives great information on just how to begin "Setting out on your adventure", and even gives you ideas on different adventures you can do. Seriously, I hadn't thought of many of these until I read this book, and now I will suggest them to my husband only because I can't drive myself (health issues) and we will have great adventures together. This book isn't just for the person that has a lot of friends, this book will help a person that is shy and introverted start to become extroverted with many more friends. There are many things that can constitute as an adventure, such as starting a business, fixing any past failures, learning something new and much more. This book helps with bits of information to give you a push in the right direction. So, if your days are blah day after day after day. I suggest reading this book as a helper to fix it. I am personally going to try a few of these suggestions to help me get out of a slump I am in.
