Cursed is the second installment in Ann Gimpel's Bound by Shadows trilogy. It picks up right where Scarred left off, and takes us on a rollercoaster ride into a fantasy world that is filled with so many twists and turns your head will spin! The storyline is fast-paced and very well written, filled with magick and mayhem, witches, fae, Greek Gods, adventure, danger, intrigue, subterfuge, politics and romance. While Morgan's singleminded quest to find Hecate may seem admirable, will it ultimately be her downfall? Morgan's innocence despite her years, leads to multiple situations where she, and often Damien, are in grave danger. The characters are well developed and engaging. Morgan and Damien's relationship suffers many ups and downs. Will they survive all of the turmoil? Will the bond animals remain true to both of them? Overall, Cursed is an excellent fantasy adventure in a harsh world dead set against Morgan and Damien's success. It is definitely well worth reading!

Book 2 takes off a the speed of light and continues with twists, turns and turmoil that ultimately ends with heart ache and leaving us holding our breath looking for book 3. Morgan and Damien are full speed ahead. This is a fast paced page turner that plops you into this fantastic urban fantasy world. There is danger and suspense at every turn for all! Morgan, Damien, witches, fae and even the Gods are getting involved. Thank you for the arc! I freely share my thoughts and opinions.

To say that this is one wild ride of a story is an understatement! Danger for Morgan And Damien is real, and there is a lot of it. This is a great adventure with and ending that leaves me ready for the third book. Many different super naturals, and some Gods thrown in. I Loved It!!! No Spoilers!
