I believe it was gr. 9 when I was first handed this unforgettable novel for a book report. The black and white cover wasn't much to look at ( even though I don't ever judge a book by their covers) but once I finished reading the first paragraph . . . I couldn't stop til it was finished. I laughed and cried more than a few times through out this awesome novel. And I have read it many times since. This is my second favorite novel #1 is Summer Sister by Judy Blume (couldn't stop reading it for a second!
