Started off well but I lost interest well before the end. The second half seemed to have been written by someone different and the sex scenes became repetitive and unappealing, as if written by a horny man who was sharing his own fantasies,in the moment. I think these books are written by a 'stable' of writers, not by a single author.

I really enjoyed this book though the modern sex talk always broke my enjoyment a bit. but just skip ahead a couple pages and you'll be fine. The disposal of the last 'bad guy' was rushed. besides those two things~~ good book 👍

Interesting story about trials, tribulations, restrictions and affairs that happened to women during this era. Well written and even had it's moments of hilarity. Good reading.
