So happy to return to Pine Harbour! This is the fifth book in the series but each book reads as a standalone. Dean Foster is a former cop who is now working private security. His first job is to watch over Nashville superstar Liana Hansen. These two couldn't be more different but the spark between them is bright and fierce. He lives his life in the shadows making sure everyone he loves is safe. She lives her life in the light with tons of adoring fans and people pulling her in all directions. Together they can perhaps find the perfect balance for both of them to have it all. This story is wonderfully written and I adored these characters. This is one I highly recommend.

Dean and Liana are opposites, they really are. But, opposites attract, and opposites fill in those spots that need filling in that you may be missing. You can see Dean, the responsible boy, now the responsible man, worrying about all the details and making sure everything is running smoothly. He is exactly what Liana needs, because while she is in control, it is starting to feel like everything is spinning on her. Liana in turn allows Dean to be selfish, think about himself, and do things that make him happy. See, they give what the other needs, and the fact their chemistry is off the charts, well, that is simply a huge bonus!

Love On The Run is a fabulous contemporary romance by Zoe York. Ms. York has provided readers with a book that is well-written and populated with a spectacular cast of characters. Dean is new to the private security business but he takes his first job being a bodyguard to country music star Liana. Liana fled to her best friend after having a panic attack after a show. Her friend hires a Dean to watch over Liana when she goes back to join her tour. Dean and Liana's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle and a touch of suspense. I loved reading this book and look forward to my next book by Zoe York. Love On The Run is book 5 of the Pine Harbour Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
