Ah, such wonderful memories :3 . I couldn't put these books down when I was a kid. And I had read much of the series, before Pokemon came out and I abandoned it. About 2 years ago, I bought the entire original series on Amazon, and it was worth every dollar. Imo, this series is right up there with Harry Potter as one of the best book series of all time. Not only did I enjoy it as an adult, I was also much more perceptive of the more serious moral and emotional issues that were explored throughout the series. There were also a few.."graphic" scenes, even in the first book, which evaded my memory back when I was a child xD . I loved the universal theme of the main characters starting out as "fresh adolescents". The Chronicles were all prequels and origin stories, and in all 4 of them, the main character(s) were all "fresh adolescents". It disappoints me that this series is rarely remembered throughout the decade since it was concluded. But thank you K.A. Applegate for brightening my childhood, thank you J.K. Rowling for keeping me occupied during my adolescent years, and a very likely future thank you to Suzanne Collins, for I am waiting for the moment that I will get to start reading The Hunger Games Trilogy.

I used to love these books when I was younger but can't find them anywhere anymore. Only given it 3 stars as can't get the download in my country (UK) apparently

The first few pages seem basic and the book covers are unusual but if you can get past this I think many people could love it. Strange, but very interesting and makes me more imaginative :)
