About this ebook

This book is a comprehensive guide to race driving on Assetto Corsa, a new racing simulator from Kunos Simulazioni.  It is not a gaming guide.  If you are seeking a gaming guide that teaches you shortcuts on achievement badge earning, tips on points scoring, or cheats on beating online opponents unfairly, you have come to a wrong place.  What you will find in this book are technical topics covering graphics card tweaking, force feedback customisation, simulator configuration, race car dynamics, racing components, car set-up, driving techniques, racing rules, race tactics, and psychology of race driving.  I also present the racing lines for all the laser-scanned tracks, up to and including the latest version.  I describe each track, corner-by-corner and bump-by-bump, with the cockpit view screenshots.

·      2016-03-23—add handling guides for version 1.5.x cars Abarth 595, C7 Stingray, and Mustang GT; add information about Tyre Model 7; include information on the latest improvements in graphics performance and track surface

Very nice book and easy to read. A lot to learn for me. Only one problem, I can not download a epub version. I like to read on my Kobo.

This book has lots of good content that relates to PC gaming in general, racing in general, and Assetto Corsa specifically (of course). Recommended for anyone running any kind of PC racing sim.
