Two worlds warring for different reasons; what the Pacificans were taught was misleading and an even greater, more sinister injustice has been committed, but not against the Pacificans. Neyla Trihorn believed her Talent was an anomaly but after meeting the rough, tough and very sexy kilt-clad assassin, Rickert D’Angelus, she slowly learns that things are not what they seem. I absolutely LOVED this novella! I loved the two different worlds and the differences between them. I also love how there is so many directions for this story to travel and I am very excited to read about others in the Iron Guild. And, of course, the beautiful happily ever after that hadn’t come easy. The writing is excellent, the plot is brilliant and the characters are well-developed. If I wasn’t already a fan of Laurie London, I would be after reading this novella. ***I received an ebook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. Very good Read fast paced good plot well defined characters as well as hot romance
