ebook (edit) Review Bad Potions introduces us to a paranormally charged Las Vegas where all sorts of magic can happen. In this story, Aidan has been cursed and banished from the land of Fairy by its Queen after he angers her. Aidan chooses Las Vegas as the town to start his quest to break the curse and return to his Queen. And he thinks he’s found the perfect person to help him in Marion, a wannabe witch. Marion is having a hard time creating love potions – a skill she has to master in order to move on to learn defensive magic so she defend herself against an evil ex (who happens to be a powerful mage). Aidan and Marion seek to help themselves by enlisting the other to assist. And as they get to know each other, they also find they may be falling in love. But can their growing feelings withstand the obstacles thrown in their path? Bad Potions is a fun read and hard to put down once you start. The chemistry between Aidan and Marion is quick but hot, and their friends add a lot of humor to the story. You easily find yourself rooting for the couple. This book is part of the Charmed in Vegas series, and it’s definitely a series I plan to continue reading. Fans of paranormal romance should definitely add this to their TBR list. Great story. Marion is trying to pass love potions but she keeps blowing them up. Her professor tells her she needs to fall in love and that will help her with her potions. Marion's ex Eric almost killed her - can she put herself out there again. Aidan is an elf cursed by The Lady(Queen) and sent to Vegas until he can break his curse. He is positive that Marion can help him, what he doesn't count on is falling for Marion. Marion is counting on Vegas' wards to keep Eric away. Eric pops up, kidnaps Marion's roommate Raven and then gets Marion. Can Aidan and Dougal save Marion with Serena's help. The eventually get their HEA. Can't wait to read more - Dougal, Serena or even McAllister.

Fun, sexy, dramatic and oh so campy! Marion is running from her ex, Eric, so she hides in Vegas where there are spells to keep evil out. As she goes to school to improve her skills as a witch, she finds she is failing potions – every love potion she makes explodes, rather humorously. Her professor and her roommate believe it’s because she needs to experience love in her life. An evening out with her roommate lands her in Aidan’s path, someone she is drawn to but is afraid to approach always believing Eric will find her. Aidan has been banished from Fairy after insulting the queen with a curse he must fulfill before he can return. He needs to help someone and Marion seems to be the perfect candidate seeing the terror she feels when Eric calls her. The bigger challenge will be losing his heart to sweet, sexy Marion. There are several fun supporting characters as we traverse the witch/fairy/supernatural world set in the exciting city of Vegas.
