About this ebook

When bad weather closes the airport, free-spirited Jules Bloom finds herself stuck with the admittedly hot but total suit Dexter Elliott. One night and one large pitcher of “Vegas Sunrise” later, Jules wakes up in a hotel bed with a vicious hangover...wearing nothing but a wedding ring.

Determined not to ruin his brother's wedding, Dexter strikes a deal with the frustratingly gorgeous Jules to continue their quickie marriage through the weekend. Only she keeps getting under his skin in unexpected ways.

Jules has her own reasons for staying married to Dex but they seem less important with each exaggerated touch and staged kiss. But one marriage, one major secret, and two complete opposites don’t add up to a happily ever after...

Each book in the Sugar City series is STANDALONE:
* Love Bites
* Kissing Her Crush
* Wife for the Weekend

Loved this one! This is such a beautiful sweet read and the relationship between the carefree Jules and buttoned up Dexter just made me chuckle. Both Jules and Dexter are trying to get to Hersey to attend Dexter's brothers wedding. When bad weather strikes though they find themselves stranded in Vegas for the night. A couple of pitchers of a bartenders special concoction and a wedding chapel later, they find themselves in bed together - Married!! Determined not to mess up the wedding weekend they agree to a marriage charade for the weekend. Soon it's easy to tell there is a lot more on than line than the wedding weekend. And it's quite possible a weekend won't be enough. For either of them! Definitely one you want to read, I highly recommend it.

"Wife for the Weekend" by Ophelia London is book three in the "Sugar City" series but can be read as a standalone. This is Jules Bloom and Dexter Elliott's story. This is a cute story of two people, that are long time family friends. Jules is a free-spirited person and Dexter is quite the opposite. They end up stranded together at an airport both trying to fly in for Dexter's brother's wedding. They haven't seen each other in awhile and have drinks while catching up. The next morning they wake up with a hangover and discover that they had gotten married. Dexter and Jules decide to continue with this marriage until after his brother's wedding. As they spend time together can these opposites have a happily ever after? This is a light, cute, funny, and passionate read. I really enjoyed this book. The supporting characters also added to this story. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. Even though the intimate scenes are closed door there is sex talk, innuendoes, and mild language.

It's stories like this one that remind me why I love romance. Wife for the Weekend is full of surprises that are laugh out loud funny but also has those moments that tug at the heart. Jules is a free spirit and Dexter is a stuffed shirt. These two have nothing in common but the wedding their trying to attend. Who knew that wedding would end up being their own? I received an ARC of Wife for the Weekend in exchange for an honest review. This was such a fun read it was hard not be charmed by it.

About the author

Ophelia London was born and raised among the redwood trees in beautiful northern California. Once she was fully educated, she decided to settle in Florida, but her car broke down in Texas and she's lived in Dallas ever since. A cupcake and treadmill aficionado (obviously those things are connected), she spends her time watching arthouse movies and impossibly trashy TV, while living vicariously through the characters in the books she writes. Visit her at www.ophelialondon.com. But don't call when The Vampire Diaries is on.
