Butter You Up is Book 2 of the Farm 2 Forking series. It's a sweet, steamy, grumpy-sunshine, small-town romantic comedy from Liz Alden. Molly is a traveling nomad living out of her van. When it needs to have some work done, she ends up in the small town, Fork Lick. Alex is a hunky, grumpy, dairy farmer in Fork Lick. In exchange for Molly parking her van, she will work at the store to sell their dairy products when needed. While doing same, she grows close to Alex and his Grandma. Alex has some serious walls up, but Molly's sunshininess starts to break down his walls. They developed a great friendship and had great chemistry. The slow burn turned into sweet heat!! 🔥🥵 I just loved this feel-good, funny romance that ended on such a happy note!!. Baarbara if you didn't read the first book is back but you will be glad to hear she's not nearly as destructive. Especially since Alex's dog Trixie is hanging around the Bedd farm more often. Why is Alex there you wonder well the Bedd Farm has a new weekend employee who is also now working weekdays at the farm store at the Dairy Farm Alex runs. But back to Molly the vanlife employ that Ethal found online who's going to help run the strawberry patch. She's a ball of sunshine and hope and everything Alex needs to help bring him out of his introverted shell. Without even trying Molly and her presence in their lives starts Alex and Ethan to a road back to communicating and so much more. The story also throws in some life struggles for other characters Molly herself is struggling with eczema. Which can be hard to treat. Molly's father is a veteran who struggles with his mental health, with PTSD. I have voluntarily left this review.
