Don't be scared of how huge it is. It goes by fast. Like the teaching style easy to follow. Though if you have had any programming experience it might get a bit dull at times. Great book.

Very pleased with this book. Doug Lowe does an excellent job of explaining indepth everything that is Java; albeit in a very simple and easy to follow manner. Highly recommended
