About this ebook

Harper Blaine was your average small-time P.I. until a two-bit perp's savage assault left her dead for two minutes. When she comes to in the hospital, she sees things that can only be described as weird-shapes emerging from a foggy grey mist, snarling teeth, creatures roaring.

But Harper's not crazy. Her "death" has made her a Greywalker- able to move between the human world and the mysterious cross-over zone where things that go bump in the night exist. And her new gift is about to drag her into that strange new realm-whether she likes it or not.

Clunky setup, a skippy plot and a weak heroine who refuses to accept her new ability, yet somehow thinks vampires existing is totally normal. 70% of this book is either Harper freaking or over explained theory on the Grey.

A wonderful take on the world of the paranormal, through the eyes of a incognizant detective dropped into the action after a near death experience. The heroine, Harper Blaine, will not be a simple pawn.

I've read this entire series, this title in hardcover form. While the series is indeed enjoyable and the female heroin is well fleshed out, the series can at times get bogged down in over describing scenes and locations which detracts from the overall story...
