Oh, so good. A fantastic roundabout way back home to Jasper Creek where Nolan thought he'd never step foot again. So many changes and Nolan now has a baby sister to look out for along with a spunky, mouthy, innocent, clever, naive caregiver, aka virgin, he got poleaxed by. Maggie, who is a beautiful person inside and out, figures out her way of life has not been the norm, nope, and of course wants Nolan to instruct her on the correct ways, or at least the most pleasurable ways. This journey wouldn't be complete without Blessing, the other boys, and her woo woo ways LoL. A ton of feels throughout, mixed with hilarity at any given second, the sweetest, hottest heat around, and an HEA to make y'all melty!

Part of the Long Road Home series (a multi author series), Defending Home is a emotional, fast paced tale of two broken people who find the "glue" to repair themselves in each other. I like that both Nolan and Mary are strong, caring people despite their nightmare childhoods. There's plenty of humor, action and steam, with appearances from some of my favorites from Caitlyn O'Leary's world made this a wonderful read for me. Enjoy!

Defending Home is an excellent romantic suspense by Caitlyn O'Leary. Mary and Nolan's story is full of drama, action, humor, sexy bits, suspense and once started you can't put it down. Defending Home is part of The Long Road Home Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger. I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
