I am a fan of strong, broken lead men and women. People that I can identify with. I am also a fan of strong chemistry and this book has it in spades! (Fanning self) lol. Towards the end it seemed to slightly drag out the whole "is-he-a-crazy-mad-murderer?" thing, but it was tolerable. I just skimmed over that part. Overall, a good read.

Mysterious happenings surround Emma during her tenure as governess to young Nicky Craven. The suspense leads to confusion and jumbled emotions while Emma tries to reason out her attraction to Lord Anthony, Nicky's father. To what extent are such events real? Could they be results of imaginative thinking?

Heroine is not a pushover. Good fast-paced read. Lots of steamy attraction. Just enough mystery and romance mixed together.
