it's a typical nora roberts love story, but she makes it so much more than sex, it's dogs, and training, and a beautiful part of the country. way to go, thumbs up.

It was nice, though the idea of Fiona and Simon being in love with wach other was quite unrealistic. I knew the end would include something like the ML saving the FL, and knowing it all along made it a bit boring.

The Search is a perennial favorite of mine and one of the first books I read by Nora Roberts. The one who got away theme has to do with the fixation of a serial killer, brought down by his last intended victim, a survivor in every sense of the word. I love the crackling, simmering, sensual chemistry between Fiona and Simon, the rapport, respect, devotion of her 3 wonderful labs Newman, Peck, and Bogart, and Simon's grudging affection for his lovable mutt, Jaws.
