I liked the book but I didn't enjoy Amara's ending really,I mean she's the empress of the most powerful empire how did 2 people from another Kingdom manage to sneak in her room undetected and how were they caught off-guard by the rebels who don't have enough manpower,it seems ludicrous to me.

I love a series that wraps things up nice and tight, and this did a pretty good job. Just enough to allow related series in the world, but not so much to leave you feeling empty... Well, at least not any more than finishing any other likeable thing you've invested yourself in when it ends.

Skipped most of the book. Didn't really like the main couple. Also, Jonas was way to fickle, talling in and out of love so easily. Amara's character was way too predictable. Lucia should have been the main character...
