What a fun read! Characters are unique and hold you spellbound as they grow and change, (literally as into wolves, but also into self aware and successful individuals.) There are deep friendships and a love story all supported against an archaeological background. What a nice addition to the whole werewolf mythology.

See the world of werewolves from the eyes of an anthropologist. And she has visions of ancient past. And she bites, long before she earned her fangs.
