Wow, what a rollercoaster! I loved the surprises and plot twists! A set of beautifully written and compelling suspense romances which are all richly woven with strong characters we get to know through challenging times of war and intrigue on the island of Vistaria. I was completely captured by each novel which tells the complete story of a couple of passionate characters set against the backdrop and sometimes very much a part of the war action. I was sad to reach the end of the series!! I'm a big fan of Tracy Cooper-Posey's rich and intriguing writing style but I was slow to start this series as I'm not very interested in 'war stories' = I was delighted, surprised and captivated by each novel in the series each was a page-turning compulsive read. There's not too much war detail but plenty of chemistry and action for each of our two main characters! One of my lasting impressions from these books is the developing and ongoing respect between the partnership couples. In times of strife and war the individual characters and their relationships are tested and strengthened...it makes for very interesting and irresistible reading! Plot twists and turns, as well as the the unpredictable and sometimes illogical actions of key players on both sides of the war, make the series as a whole a very captivating and riveting read!! I highly recommend this whole series and was delighted and surprised by the new plot twists and turns of each novel! Tracy Cooper-Posey has excelled herself with another great series!!

This is a very thrilling series that has very engrossing plotlines. This exciting read has plenty of twists and turns. I really enjoyed the unique and personable characters. Along with the character, plot and world development. I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.
