About this ebook

The H.G. Wells classic that helped launch the time travel genre.

The Time Traveller, a dreamer obsessed with traveling through time, builds himself a time machine and, much to his surprise, travels over 800,000 years into the future. He lands in the year 802701: the world has been transformed by a society living in apparent harmony and bliss, but as the Traveler stays in the future he discovers a hidden barbaric and depraved subterranean class.

The Time Machine inspired the international bestseller The Map of Time by Félix J. Palma. As a gift to our readers, we are including the first three chapters of The Map of Time in this ebook edition.

I couldn't find myself completely reading this book. It was quite confusing, but if you're into books that are more scientific, this is the book for you. It's more for people who know a lot about science, rather than someone who just learned in science class. It was very annoying when we had to type in a credit card, although it was free. Just a warning on that, it doesn't cost you anything, the card numbers just there.

Hate that ignorance that is rating the book 1 star. It is free, and due to the fact that Google requires a card on file to make purchases they are blaming the publisher or the book for the issue. Get a prepaid if needed. Fixed. Yes the Google system has a flaw, but it is a free and no money was taken out of my account. Thanks for the free book I'm enjoying it. Wish had the foot notes, beggars can't be choosers.

I see some say their friend didnt have to pay but I am sure your friend already has a card on file with google. When i set up my google account I was given option to put payment information and to save for later use..That is what the cc is all about the book is free and nothing gets installed or charged to you that you dont agree to.
