This is the continuing story of a tangled triangle between Cole Hartman, Danni Angelo, and Trace Savoy. If you haven't read 'One is a Promise' you really need to read that book before starting 'Two is a Lie.' My review contains significant information from the first book so I'd also skip this review if you haven't read it yet. Dani was madly in love and engaged with Cole Hartman four and half years ago. His job took him away for a year and then she was told he had been killed. She mourned his loss deeply for two years when Trace Savoy slammed into her life and restarted her heart. Finally finding love and happiness again, she's engaged to Trace when Cole reappears blowing her world apart. This second book is all about three people deeply, madly in love. Cole and Trace are unwilling to let her go and neither man is willing to share. Danni is caught unable to choose between the two men she loves so deeply. Lots of angst, jealousy and pain as two men hope to keep the woman who owns their heart and not kill each other in the process. This love triangle is hot and decadent and takes a few unexpected turns. This is a trilogy so I expected the second book to leave me hanging. Thankfully the third book is available now so there's no waiting to find out how it all ends.

This is a book 2. Anyways Danni was super whiney which was annoying. It is beautiful how she can be so in love with both guys but what she puts both of them through.... Devastating. I kept hoping she gets kidnapped and a little bit tortured cause of what she puts them through 🙈🙈🙈Anyways I'm team Trace so yeah..... Devastating!!!

Two is a Lie by Pam Godwin is the second book in the Tangled Lies series. When we left off there was a huge turn of events that really was the premise to this entire book. Danni is left with the biggest choice to make and its not an easy one, does she go back to her past or keep moving on with her future? Being torn between two men is not an easy thing to deal with and we get to see that in this book when Danni is in the middle of Cole and Trace. No matter what happens, someone is going to be hurt in the end. I really liked this book. It was well written and you could feel the struggle that Danni had trying to follow her heart when her heart is tearing in two. Trace, my man Trace, I am on his side and I want them to end up together, but Cole is her first true love and he is devoted to staying in her life. Check out this book to see what happens! I can't wait for Three is War. Great job Pam, as usual you have me captivated by your characters.
