About this ebook

A New York Times bestselling series
A USA TODAY bestselling series
A California Young Reader Medal–winning series

In this riveting series opener, a telepathic girl must figure out why she is the key to her brand-new world before the wrong person finds the answer first.

Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret—at least, that’s what she thinks…

But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well…she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth, and she is forced to leave behind her family for a new life in a place that is vastly different from what she has ever known.

But Sophie still has secrets, and they’re buried deep in her memory for good reason: The answers are dangerous and in high-demand. What is her true identity, and why was she hidden among humans? The truth could mean life or death—and time is running out.

I am obsessed with this series I've read almost the whole thing twice and I think I know who Sophie's "dad" is #possible_spoiler_alert(Keefe's father cause Keefe said how his father was fascinated with Sophie and they both are able to read her emotions without touching her and Mr.Forkle said that Sophie and Keefe have a "special" relationship and Sophie naturally feels protective when Keefe is hurt and doesn't have a crush on him soooo they are probably step siblings).. I haven't read the last book so my opinion doesn't matter and I don't even know if she ever finds out who her parents are but knowing Sophie she will find out

OH. MY. GOODNESS. This is even better than Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland and Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling...PUT TOGETHER!!! This series is the best! It's about a girl who learns a shocking secret about her past...and she meets new friends and (as much as I hate to use this indescriptive phrase) goes on epic adventures! There are nine books in the series and the next one comes out November 8th, 2022. I can't wait! I placed a hold on Legacy (Book 8) at my local library and I'm so excited! You should definitley read this series if you are 10 and up! This series is the best! Thanks for reading! Happy reading!!!

I honestly cannot give this book enough stars...it was soooo good. I am so team sophie! I have to admit tho I don't really think I'm a total fitzphie fan but they're pretty good together. And although it's sad that keefe isnt getting a chance....I'm still a super duper big fan of the keeper of the lost cities Aka( KotLC) and a big supporter of the series. As always I find myself extremely excited to finish the rest of the keeper of the lost cities books!!!!😘
