Matthew Friedly (The Armchair Gamer)
From the eyes of a restaurant worker at an anomaly of a joint producing far more than should be concievable from a space in a gas stationI understand and agree with everything Anthony says here. Every restaurant worker should read this. It will either confirm what you already know or put the nail in the forthcoming coffin you did not see coming. It can change your viewpoint when you think you are at the end of your career or when you need renewal. This book is gold.

Kitchen Confidential is a classic that was able to transcend the culture of cooking and food to speak to a general audience. Maybe it's not fair to compare, but Medium Raw is more for those in the in industry, and while a good read, is not destined to be in the same category...entertaining and very funny in some parts. I recommend it.

I love Tony's unapologetic attitude, this book however is full of apologies. I guess we all get nicer as we get older, but I like the angry stories to stay angry. The person does not need to and I am glad he is happier, but the old stories are great... Let them be great and full as read in their time.
