From the basics of aromatherapy to advanced methods of application, this manual covers everything you need to get started in the practice or to deepen your knowledge if you are already a practitioner. You will learn about the 30 most important essential oils, their unique properties and how they can transform health and harmony in your life.
In addition, this text will not only teach you about essential oils, but will also train you to become an aromatherapy therapist. This book is the manual for a course accredited by The International Guild of Complementary Therapists (IGCT), England, so anyone who has completed the book can apply for their diploma of completion, with the publisher, as explained in the last chapter of this book.
Greetings! My name is Isis Estrada, and I am a therapist deeply dedicated to exploring the dimensions of human experience that elevate and enrich our lives. My academic journey in psychology began with formal studies at the University of Minnesota in the United States and continued at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Spain. From my early work as a lecturer at various universities in Mexico to my current practice as an active therapist in Mexico City, I have come to understand that self-discovery and personal growth constitute an ongoing journey filled with profound, transformative insights.
As an author, I have discovered that writing provides a powerful medium through which I can share the journey of self-exploration. My works focus on mysticism, esotericism, and alternative therapeutic practices—areas that have allowed me to delve into novel perspectives on human well-being and spiritual interconnectedness. Through my books, I aim to provide readers with practical tools that foster a fulfilling life, one lived in harmony with both oneself and the broader world.
Currently, I lead the Center for Alternative Therapies, "Mystic Path," a space dedicated to offering support and guidance to those seeking healing and reconnection with their existential purpose. I am also a member of "The International Guild of Complementary Therapists" based in London, England, which endorses my courses and educational initiatives. Additionally, alongside my husband and life partner, Carlos Robles Cruz, I serve as the co-director of Holos Arts Project, a creative endeavor committed to editorial and artistic production.
I appreciate your presence in this community of readers. It is my sincere hope that my books serve as an illuminating guide along your journey of self-discovery. Together, we can move forward, exploring each step towards a deeper understanding of ourselves and the profound mysteries of existence.
With gratitude and light,
Isis
