I like a mystery with a believable plot, likeable characters (at least the good gals), and good writing. MURDER AT THE PTA has all of those things and some laughs as well. Beth is a character who could easily be a person I know. Her concerns are realistic, but her thoughts and reactions to events often made me laugh. Alden has the knack of saying things with a lightly humorous touch, not silly, not zany, just funny. Good mystery, great characters, and humor. I can't wait for Book Two!
