About this ebook

Ford Spears, star hockey player, is ready to grab the only goal he has ever wanted—a second chance with the mother of his child.

For our son. That’s the explanation my hockey-playing ex gave as to why we need to spend time as a family at his lake house in the small town where it all began. What I didn’t expect was to show up and discover our son is spending another week at camp, and Ford and I are all alone. Oh, and he wants me to fake a relationship for a day to fulfill an old lady’s wish too. I realize that Ford is on the mission that I always feared…

He wants to win me back.

But our past is filled with heartache and regrets. It’s going to take a lot more than a few strolls down memory lane or romantic boat rides on the lake. And don’t get me started on the man refusing to wear a shirt around the house. He wants us to have one week together and pretend we could have it all, and I know it’s not a good idea. Not when I’m not sure who believes in us more, because we are both wondering if together, we were always worth the wait.

Ford and Brielle bring the feels and steam in this completely swoon-worthy forced-proximity second-chance love story. Worth the Wait is book three in the complete standalone interconnected Lake Spark series. For lovers of small-town romance with a touch of sports.

Another winner in this series. I could not put this one down! Brielle, Ford, and Connor had me devouring the pages. I was so happy to be back in Lake Spark. This retired hockey hunk is going to make you swoon. Ford has been patiently waiting to make is move to win back the love of his life. When life forced these two on different paths while co-parenting it broke their hearts. Now things have aligned and these two have a forced proximity situation going on. This book had all the feels!

I really loved this story and watching Hadley and Connor really discover who each one is now that they are all grown up. The two sets of parents was so much fun. I loved how overprotective Spencer was for his daughter and how he gives Conner a tough time about the whole Vegas married thing. This was really fun story with lots of romance and a wonderful cast of characters. I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the third book in this series, and this is Ford and Brielle’s story. Ford is now a star hockey player, and Brielle is his son’s mom. Due to family influences Brielle sacrificed her dreams to let Ford pursue his, and 8-years later, Ford is determined and will stop at nothings to convince her that they are meant to be together. This is a beautifully written story which has sacrifices, heartbreak, regrets, family, friendships, emotions, forced proximity, undeniable chemistry, second chances
