⭐⭐⭐⭐ -This book "Dark Notes" was forbidden teacher-student romance novel. -This was the first book I've read by this author and I absolutely loved it. -This book was full of raw emotions and the real struggles of FMC and focuses on the dark past both MC's went through.Their love was not insta-love but an instant connection. -This book really made me emotional because Ivory's (FMC) life was a real hardship and she was going through all the struggle to get out of her abusive life and make a future for herself through any means possible and make a name for her through her talent. Emeric was such an amazing character and he deserves to be called a book boyfriend because he was like an dark angel who came in the form of her music teacher to help her and it was not quite easy at first to tear down the walls Ivory's had built around herself. -This book has some triggers like rape and abuse so only pick this book if you are ready for an emotional ride and love in its musical form

Want to first start off by saying I love Pam Godwin’s books! She is an amazing writer and I enjoy her stories because they are dark and it’s nice to get away from something I don’t always read. I really enjoyed this book and it’s story. Again a dark romance and it’s not for everyone especially because of the age difference with the two main characters, but that didn’t brother me really bc it’s a book and it just kinda didn’t worry about it. I really enjoyed the chemistry and love scenes between Ivory and Emeric bc well who doesn’t love a good dom! All I can say is if you love book like this and Pam then this is a good story for you!
