A monster is loose in Wonder Falls! Teens are disappearing in Wonder Falls and police have a suspect but there may be an even more sinister reason. Aunt Astrid is feeling ripples in the dimensions and Bea and Cath are not convinced that police have the right suspect. Treacle is normally a courageous black cat but even he is unwilling to go out after dark. This is the first book I have read in this series but it won’t be the last. I like the Greenstone women and their cats. The secondary characters are likeable and the romance they bring to the story makes it even more enjoyable.

The Greenstone women, Cath*Aunt Astride & Bea risk life and limb's in this series of delightful mysteries of things that go bump in the night. This is a story of how 3 witches keep their hometown of Wonder Falls safe from supernatural beings bent on destruction, murder and mayhem. There's also a little romance and a whole lot of fun. This is my first wonder cats book and I am so glad I found this series! It's clean, no swearing, constant alcohol, or sex. The mystery isn't your run of the mill cozy either. It's a mystery fitting for a world with witches. I live a world with magic. The greenstone family is so positive and loving and sarcastic, just like family should be. I feel right at home.
