And, oh, how I had been waiting for this one, because my hair was standing on end at the end of Book 2, just waiting to see what Jackson Hawke had up his sleeve. And, in true Lili Valente fashion, she picked right back up with this mind-blower of a story and ran with it. Just when it seems that Hannah and Jackson have reached a turning point in their twisted but crazily sexy and oddly romantic relationship, all bets are off. With one scene, Lili turns the mood of the story completely around, keeping me guessing with all of the shifts in action. Has Jackson realized who Hannah is? Is Hannah safe from Jackson? What will be the outcome for the two of them? They both came from the heart and the heart could be reasoned with, appealed to, even changed from time to time. The heart knew how to forgive, and as long as forgiveness was a possibility, hope was never beyond reach."

Jackson has done it he has won me over in this one. I've been on the fence about him, but after reading this I'm on his side. Though at the beginning of the book I felt he was going to stay the way has been, but he does something that changed my mind about him. Hannah is so good for him and it shows with the thawing of the darkness in him. I feel the heat level has gone up in this because of the emotional connection these two now have. Of course when things go good you are just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well it does at the end and leaves us with a cliff hanger for the next book. Jackson has finally started to accept the good things in his life and the changes when now he may lose the sunshine the brightens his darkness. I have a feeling it's going to be a nail biter.

Spoiler if you have not read the prior books in this series…. ❤️❤️❤️ Talk about a cliff hanger!!! OMG… how am I supposed to wait for the next one!!! There is so much to say about this story, but too many spoilers would be revealed… so…. This story begins with an enormous plot twist and then takes off from where Deep Domination left off….with Hannah fleeing from Jackson after seeing the dog cage possibly meant for her… this installment of this series takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride from utter disbelief to happiness to fear.... I cannot wait for the next book! I think this is my favorite book Lili has written so far.... I love this book!❤️❤️❤️
