While I enjoyed the book, I feel angry over the fact that the author allows you a free "taste" of the story line, only to bait you into buying the sequel!!! While I understand the need for her to make money, not everyone, myself included, have the resources to continue to buy & buy the next in the series! So, the outcome of this story shall remain a mystery to this reader.

This purchase contains only a part of the story. I noticed after reading it that there is a warning, "Note: Contains Cliffhanger." There really are few things more annoying to me. The previously stated is the reason for merely 3 stars because otherwise, this is a good book. This is book one in the BRIDES OF CONVENIENCE series. Book 2, and I think the hea of this couple, is 'A Hollywood Bride'----I read Sept '22

Good story line with descriptive details to keep a reader engaged. I don't like endings with no summary, just mid sentence cut off. I wouldn't have started this book knowing I don't even get a partial ending.
