I give this book a 2.75. I really didn't care for the ending or the beginning. The beginning was very slow. The lead female character was absolutely silly to me. I still don't understand some of these women in these books. I know it's just a book but how is it that you are so high and mighty that, when you get a sexy, hot, good in the sack, filthy rich guy that would treat you like a queen, you don't want him? Give me a break. I'm so sick of that plot.

just reread the book after reading Nic book. it seems like the female lead has mom issues, I'll have to read TJ boom to see if there is a pattern. the books are great. both Zoe and Roark had a communication issues. I think Zoe was wrong calling Roark selfish after all he has done for her.

Emma Roman weaves a story of angst, heartbreak, compassion, secrets, attraction, relationships, family, romance, which all leads to love and a HEA.

Krystal Shannan lives in a sprawling ranch style home with her husband, daughter, and a pack of rescue Basset Hounds. She is an advocate for Autism Awareness and shares the experiences and adventures she’s been through with her daughter whenever she can.

Needless to say, life is never boring when you have an elementary-aged special needs child you are homeschooling and half a dozen 4-legged friends roaming the house. They keep her and her husband busy, smiling, and laughing.
