Elle James – Montana Seal Daddy - Brotherhood Protectors Series - Book 7 The Seventh book in the series is as fresh as the First in this wonderful series. A former Navy Seal, Brandon Rayne “Boomer” now works for the Brotherhood Protector’s. Brandon had arrived two days ago and suddenly in walks Daphne Miller, the women he can’t forget their time together. They met a year ago in Cozumel with Brandon on leave and Daphne alone on her Honey Moon because her fiancé’ died six months ago from a brain tumor. Brandon and Daphne both fell for each other fast and hard. But, when Daphne left Brandon’s room in the middle of the night, she witnessed a murder and has been in witness protection since that night. Brandon looked for Daphne everywhere and after he failed, all he could do was go back to the Seal Team and dream of her. When Brandon left the Seals a few months later, he had no idea that he would ever see Daphne again, but here she was standing in his boss’s living room Maya her three-month old baby girl. He now believes that she left his bed and fell for her 47-year-old body guard, Chuck Johnson. While Brandon keeps his distance from Daphne she believes that he thought of her as “just a fling”. I loved this one! Montana SEAL Daddy gets off to an action-packed start and doesn't stop until the end. Chapter one gives us background information on Daphne and her daughter, Maya. Chapter two tells us about Brandon "Boomer" Rayne, a Navy SEAL sniper, no longer on active duty. Both of these chapters are filled with lots of information and action. This is a pretty quick story to read and it kept my attention right from the start. I have a soft spot for secret baby stories so that was a plus for me. My heart hurt so bad for Boomer because of what he went through on active duty; it's really affecting how he interacts with Daphne and Maya. Other reviewers compared this book to Elle's Texas Billionaires Club stories and that's not a fair comparison. Those stories are romantic comedy and they are wonderful but the Brotherhood Protectors stories are romantic suspense – lots of action and suspense and hot SEALs. I enjoy all of the sub-genres that Elle writes in but I don't try to compare her romantic comedy stories with her romantic suspense ones. I'm still enjoying the Brotherhood Protector series after seven books; I'm not ready for it to end yet. Keep 'em coming Elle James! You can never go wrong with a story written by this talented author. This story is fast paced, filled with action, intrigue, bad guys, strong characters, and romance. Loved Boomer, Daphne and Chuck. Ms James also reminds us that men like Boomer, the ex-Navy Seal sniper, have to be honored and admired. While we are in this free country, enjoying ourselves and at times complaining about insignificant things, these individuals in the military put their lives on the line to keep us safe. They have to endure losses, at times physical injuries and many end up with PTSD. Thank you , Ms James , for the reminder and of course for a great story with an interesting plot. I would like to see more of Chuck in future books. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Elle James was born in Spokane, Washington on Fairchild Air Force Base. She grew up as a military brat moving around quite often from places like Glasgow, Montana, Abilene, Texas and California.
