I quite enjoyed the book, as I have the series. There was a bit of deviation from the repetitive formula of the other novels, which was nice. The author still places a bit too much attention on action versus developing the characters. The main issue with this novel, causing a lower rating, is an egregious amount of typos and errors. I would never pay the money for a hardcopy of a book with such poor editting. It is not the first in the series with the issue but it is, so far, the worst.

This book is another in the dreadful Frostborn series. What Moeller's has going for it in its somewhat interesting overarching plotline, it more than makes up for in repetitive writing (every book reminds us how the characters talk, how they walk, and how they fight, sometimes multiple times in the book) and unoriginal book subplots. Will not be reading any more of these books.

Good series, BUT, the grammar and spelling mistakes are atrocious, far too many throughout the series, perhaps the rush to get them online and no editors perhaps? That being said, a good series, a bit too much like the LORs regarding the battles where all is thought to be lost, book after book, after book. Too much of the same descriptions during battle scenes, very repetitive
