Then the killings stopped and the N.O.P.D. never caught the person responsible. With no crime scene and no evidence pointing to an offender, the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation is brought in and teamed up with the newly-formed Major Crimes Division, and the search becomes a manhunt to catch The Campus Killer before he claims another young victim. But the L.B.I. wastes no time zeroing in on the killer and he's not your average psychopath. Once again, Detective Oliver Rousseau must turn to the one person who can help solve the crime - his wife, Marin.

This author simply knows how to keep your interest. The storyline and characters are not only interesting, but keep you turning pages. I love the descriptive settings and each character's developing personality. In getting to know Detective Oliver Rousseau and family, we are pulled into their lives and with each story, a bit more is revealed. After reading the first of the Detective Rousseau books, I could not wait to find the next. And now, I'm in search for the third. I really do love to read these novels. Just when you think you know how things will end, you find you aren't in quite deep enough and you'll take another turn, keeping you more vested in each chapter. I love to read and these novels make the most of my time, keeping me entertained and on my toes!
