Oh my! I loved this sweet Christmas love story. The characters are really good, a since of a good family relationships, helping those less fortunate, a little drama and steam, and a second chance at fated mates and love. Jillian is a human and Tim a bear shifter. Both are widowed. Tim and Jillian's daughters are best friends and for years Tim was distant and gruff to Jillian. He refused to admit his feelings for her thinking of his dead wife memories. On Christmas Eve, Tim finds Jillian in her wrecked van injured badly. Knowing he never want to live another day without her, he finally confessed his love. I admire the devotion that Tim and Jillian had for their deceased mates. To find love like that a second time is so heart warming and a wonderful Christmas miracle. I loved the close nit family and friends relationships.

A Bear for Christmas: A Barvale Christmas Tale (Barvale Holiday Tales Book 1) is a fun book. It is a quick read, and has as MCs people we've seen in other Barville stories, and were hoping they'd get their own. Read this as an ARC, and my thoughts are purely my own opinion.
