Gabe and Elina had an intense, albeit unexpected attraction. Elina had some issues regarding relationships, and Gave was working OT to prove to her that she was more than just a fling for him. They had to overcome the additional obstacles of her job and his promise to behave, to prove that he was more than the former child star/playboy. I discovered that I really enjoy reading situations where the woman has the commitment issues, and the guy works to convince her to commit. It makes for a fun read. This was a steamy, sexy, fun read. I enjoyed following them to their HEA. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Hot Night in the Hamptons, Nana Malone Great story! Wow, what do you do when your hot, sexy, playboy one-night stand becomes your client the very next day? Uh-oh, Elina is in way deeper than she expected or wanted to be with this one, emotionally & career wise-clients are off limits. But this is her "off-men" season so she's determined to maintain a strictly business relationship. Gabe is not used to getting the cold shoulder when its comes to women which just triggers his determination switch when meeting Elina. He has an uh-oh moment too when Elina walks into his PR business meeting. Since Gabe wants to change his playboy reputation his new PR company he's interested in wants him to clean up his act. Gabe know he's in trouble because he is now working with the one woman he wants more than anything. Great couple, Elina has a few issues with relationships but Gabe is understanding and patient.... They can't resist one another but no matter how clever you become at sneaking around, someone is always watching.

Gotta go when it's your bestie's wedding and Elina attends. She's not gonna waste her time on men, though. She's pursuing her career. At least there is a future in that. Gabe, the best man, is hot and sure wants her. No no no--well maybe. What could once hurt? She finds out when he happens to be her first all-her-own client. Now, what? He wants her and persistence is his middle name, or first. This is a fun excursion with a couple you just gotta love. Ms. Malone never disappoints. Her characters are fresh, hot, and the situations keep us coming back for more. Some short reads don't offer enough of anything, not so with this author. If I pick up her book, I know I'm going to enjoy the book long or short. And I sure did with this fun story. Keep them coming--long or short, I'm gonna read them.
