This is another fabulously written, smart cozy mystery that had me laughing out loud. I recommend reading these in series order. This story has Audrey and Kade are in Chicago so Audrey can meet the future in-laws. Things start to go off the rails before they even get to Chicago, and the arrival of a ghost wanting her murder solved shouldn't have been a surprise. Kade's parents are excited and eager to help, and everyone is swept up in solving the murder while wedding planning. The fast pace and whirlwind feeling we're both the perfect escape and felt all too real. If the craziness in Chicago wasn't enough, we also get Seb who was left behind to keep an eye on Thor and Bandit to add even more humor. It's a clean, fun mystery that is entertaining from the first to last page.

This series keeps getting better and better! Things start going awry before Audrey and Kade even get to Chicago. This was really entertaining and had some very sweet moments. And we still got some Thor and Bandit time in the story. The murder victim was something else. The investigation was a fun family affair. I can’t wait for the next book! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another fun and action-packed cozy mystery! I love this series and this latest book didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed Audrey’s adventure as she goes to meet the future in-laws.
