About this ebook

When disaster strikes, Percy is there.

Even if he doesn't want to be.

Whether it's a runaway carriage barreling down the street or a villainous plot against the crown, Percy will stumble headfirst into the fray.

But he's not a hero.

He's not a vigilante.

He's not even looking for fame or fortune.

In truth, Percy just wants to lead a normal life – low-key, boring, and predictable. So when a mysterious hag appears with a (fake) luck talisman, Percy jumps at the chance for a bit of normalcy. But as strange coincidences start to converge around him, Percy finds himself in the middle of all sorts of misadventures.

From finding himself in the middle of a criminal operation to becoming a suspected vigilante, Percy must use all his wit and luck to flail his way to saving the day.

You’ll love this delightfully funny, adventure-filled romp through a world full of chaos and mayhem.

Catastrophe Collector is a great read. If you liked all the high-flying shenanigans and misunderstandings that made Siobhan's adventures so grand in scale, you'll love this. It stands pretty well on its own, though it's packed with references to the main story, so I would definitely recommend reading the first book before this one. Maybe even rereading it if you read it a while ago and want to pick up on some more subtle references. That said, you absolutely could read it on its own, the references would just add to the background chaos. And honestly, the background chaos is basically a character in its own right.

A side story to A Practical Guide to Sorcery: You don't need to have read A Practical Guide to Sorcery to enjoy this book. I would describe A Catastrophe Collector as a Slice of Life Adventure story following the life of a young man whose fortunes change in an instant, allowing him to reap the rewards of his years of hard work. Its sometimes whimsical and comical moments merged with down-to-earth wholesomeness are a joy for readers to experience.

About the author

Azalea Ellis is the author of the Seeds of Chaos and Practical Guide to Sorcery series, and like most authors, is an avid reader herself. Creating worlds and people and then putting them through every ordeal imaginable might even give her some kind of sick thrill. Maybe that's why she likes writing books.

Or perhaps she just likes taking things from her head and bringing them to life.

She's fascinated by almost everything, and wishes she could live to be a thousand, so she would have time to learn and do everything she wants. She sometimes makes weird noises when she's alone by herself, and she loves to interact with her readers.
