About this ebook

An unprecedented and terrifying bioterrorism plot threatens to kill millions in the midst of a divisive presidential election in this “gut punch of a tale that exploits our greatest fears” (The Providence Journal) from the #1 New York Times bestselling Mitch Rapp series.

A toxic presidential election is underway in an America already badly weakened by internal divisions. While politicians focus entirely on maintaining their own power, ISIS kidnaps a brilliant French microbiologist and forces him to begin manufacturing anthrax. Slickly produced videos chronicling his progress and threatening an imminent attack are posted to the internet, intensifying the hysteria gripping the United States.

ISIS recruits a Mexican drug cartel to smuggle the bioweapon across the border, but it’s really just a diversion. The terrorist organization needs to keep Mitch Rapp and Irene Kennedy distracted long enough to weaponize a deadly virus that they stumbled upon in Yemen. If they succeed, they’ll trigger a pandemic that could rewrite the world order.

Rapp embarks on a mission to infiltrate the Mexican cartels and track down the ISIS leader who he failed to kill during their last confrontation. But with Washington’s political elite increasingly lined up against him, he knows he’ll be on his own.

Another stellar and white-knuckled thriller, Lethal Agent proves that “Mitch Rapp is the hero we need, maybe now more than ever” (The Real Book Spy).

Lethal Agent by Kyle Mills, is absolutely fantastic. I am proud to say that I was chosen as a Mitch Rapp Ambassador, and telling everyone about this next chapter in the Mitch Rapp series is an honor. I am a huge fan of this series and I wait, counting the days for each book and then, once I am done, I wait with baited breath for the next. Well this book, Lethal Agent, seems so very current in our political world and therefore is kind of scary. There is a toxic presidential election with America weakened by internal divisions. Politicians focusing entirely on maintaining their own power and privilege and then ISIS kidnaping a French microbiologist, forcing him to begin manufacturing anthrax with plans to weaponize the deadly virus. If that isn’t enough, Mitch Rapp heads to Mexico to infiltrate the Mexican cartels and track down the ISIS leader who he failed to kill during their last confrontation. Of course Washingtons politicians are only out for their own good and try to get in Mitch, his men and Irene Kennedy’s way. As I read the book it was as if some of this was, or could be happening now. Kyle has such a great grasp of the diversity of the American politicians and politics, that I felt as if this could be coming our way of we don’t start paying attention and Washington doesn’t remember that we are a country united. Mitch seems more aggressive and tightly wound in this book and it makes you wonder will he ever be able to have a life that doesn’t require him to give all to our country. He has such loyalty to his friends, family and to America. I hope we have someone in our service that is like Mitch. I doubt it, but one can only hope. Thank you Kyle Mills for never letting Mitch Rapp fade away, for keeping him strong, and continuing a favorite series without having us feel as if another author took over. You have stayed true to the characters and we truly appreciate it. This series needs to be read in order to understand all of the nuances. This is the 18th book in the series. Lethal Agent comes out September 24th 2019 at your favorite book stores.

I see improvement with each new Mitch Rapp novel written by Kyle Mills. I thought his first attempt to keep the series going was well done. He continues to impress me with each new novel. Filling in for Vince Flynn was never going to be easy but Kyle has handled the challenge very well. This series has always been a one or two day read for me because I just can't put the books down. In Lethal Agent the story line flows and is easy to follow. You can picture each scenario and the characters and settings involved. I gladly recommend this book to family, friends, and fellow book lovers.

Great addition to the series. Read it in a day and loved it. It did feel a bit rushed but over all phenomenal. I can't wait to read the next book. As much as I hate to say it though I look forward to the end of the series because time has finally caught up with Mitch Rapp and we couldn't have asked for someone better to keep the series going for as long as it has. I'm excited to see how this ends! Even if it takes a couple more books!
