Every time I start one of these books my eyes roll at the repetitiveness of the sex and I think, 'this is the one I can't finish, this is where it ends' and then I get sucked into the story arc and carried along until I rock up at the end of the book shouting 'what a ride!' So, in summary, series arc gets four, maybe four and a half stars, romance gets three, maybe even two and a half stars. Averages out to three and a half stars. Dark Protectors how I have missed you. I am normally not a paranormal genre reader, but Rebecca Zanetti can write like no other in this genre for me. Her world description is so well done and plotted that I am sucked into her little world. And what a world it is. Absolutely fantastic read.

Garrett’s story was AMAZING! It was everything I’d been waiting for and more. I never expected all the crazy twists and turns that popped up. This is definitely one of the most intense books of the series. The angst, the drama, the danger. It carried me through until almost the very last page. I highly recommend this book and while it could possibly stand alone, I really feel that you need to read the previous books.
