I really love everything about this book — from the characters which I think is a given since Nina really knows how to write hero and heroines to love! Say hello to hot as hell bikers and sassy ladies with dirty mouths. The story — Nina manages to create a perfect balance between two stories — the hero and heroine of the book and the story of “Storm MC”. It was definitely easy to get hooked. There are 3 moments that really stayed with me in this entire book: 1. The first real interaction between Blade and Layla. Hello ARM PORN and DAMSEL in DISTRESS! It isn’t really “how” they met, but the timing. 2. The first time they did the DEED. THAT WAS FREAKING INTENSE, HOT and SWEET at the same! HOW? JUST READ. 3. Epilogue. First part, that was pretty heart-warming. PROMISE! This might have been my favorite book in the series up to date but I’m still holding the torch for GRIFF! Excited for the next story!! Ties some loose ends up and creates more and more possibilities for characters to flourish. We find out about Blade's past with his mother and his father ... Marcus (and his half siblings Maddison and Scott) . What motivates Blade and and his family to make amends Nd to blend everyone in tigether. As a part of Brisbane Storm....

I couldn't wait for Blade's story & read it in a day. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I thought it would be. While I understand how Kayla is good for him, I just never felt the connection between the two like J & Madison or Scott & Harlow or Nash & Velvet connections. That didn't stop me from enjoying Blade's story, it just wasn't my favorite in this series is all.
