About this ebook

Ten-year-old girls don't wear wigs.

So why is Anya wearing one? That's what Keely wants to know. But when Anya's wig falls off in front of the whole class, Keely realizes what she really wants is to help Anya, even though she's not sure how--and even though it means she'll have to do something she's afraid of: stand up to her friends.
As for Anya, she just wants her hair to grow back, but no one can tell her whether it ever will. How can she learn to accept her disease when she can't even look in the mirror?

Horrible, good message but bad story line. Honestly I am a huge fan of Mrs.Haddix but this was a big stinker. Honestly I'm kind of dissapointed in Mrs.Haddix. Hope she writes better books. My hobby is reading books so I have lots of expierince with what makes a good book. Frankly please don't read this book it will be a waste of time and money, also if you don't read books much and don't like this one you probably won't ever want to read again. I wish there was a option to put 0 stars. I loved the the message it will definetly bring a smile to those who have the same thing but the story line and plot really sucks. Total waste of my time. I don't ussually hate books but this time I did.

Loved it, i first seen it at the library and ended up checking it out to see what it was about. It was a heart warming story of a little girl going through a serious disease. If i had a way to help anyone with this disease, i would definitely help, even if it means cutting my hair. Would you do the same?
