“Aves sin nido” es la primera novela de la escritora peruana Clorinda Matto, siendo precursora del movimiento realista de su país. Publicada en 1889 causó gran controversia, y la escritora hubo de exiliarse de Perú. Clorinda se sirve de los protagonistas de la novela para denunciar los abusos cometidos por los tres poderes del pueblo andino: el clerical, el judicial y el político en contra del indígena.
